Face it: Nurseries aren’t usually the most stylish room of the house. Sure, some beautiful baby rooms exist, but most of them are covered in bright colors, saccharine themes, and lots of dirty diapers. And if you’re going to have an aesthetically pleasing nursery, you’ll have to search high and low to find some passable furniture to outfit your space. Well, that’s until Nate Berkus decided to do something about it.

The designer teamed up with Babyletto to create a 12-piece collection of nursery furniture that can be used well beyond the newborn era. And, perhaps more importantly, furniture you’ll actually want to use well beyond the newborn era.

“I approached this collection as both a designer and a father, with the belief that every piece should have character and function beautifully,” Berkus said in a press statement. “The goal was to create furniture that parents would be excited to live with from day one, but that could also grow and evolve alongside their family.”

Case in point: The Astre All-Stages 8-in-1 Crib, in which a rich, FSC-certified wooden frame can seamlessly transition from a bassinet to a junior bed for toddlers. Anyone in need of stylish storage will appreciate the six-drawer dresser, which can be used as a chic changing table or hold lots of sweaters and socks. Or, if you need to kick up your feet after a long day of feedings, reach for one of the collaboration’s ottomans. Don’t worry, it can definitely get a second life in your living room once your kiddos have graduated to solid foods.

As if we weren’t already surprised by how design-minded a nursery line is, we are equally impressed by its accessibility. Right now, the entire collaboration is available to purchase on Amazon, so you can receive Berkus’s wares in your next Prime order. If you’re not seeing anything that piques your interest now, just wait: Babyletto says this 12-piece collection is “the first chapter in an ongoing creative collaboration,” so an actually chic nursery is in its infancy.
