Brent has been in the interior design game for many years and has observed how consumer tastes have changed—he’s seen a definite shift in the way luxury is approached in the home. “It used to be about opulence and how expensive something was, but now it's really about how personal something feels, the value of how it contributes to your life, the value of what you bring into your home,” he explains. “I think now more than ever, people are looking around at their house thinking, ‘Okay, luxury for me is personalization.’”

While Shark’s new Luxe Collection boasts best-in-class performance, the products are also undeniably sleek and sophisticated. “I don't want to speak for Shark, but I think the intentionality of that was that we could bring them out, and they could be something that kind of lives amongst everything in your home,” Brent adds.
