I know there’s been a lot of internet chatter about whether October Prime Day deals are worth buying or not, and the truth is, it depends on what you purchase. There are notable discounts on tech, gadgets, and household essentials, but not everything is discounted. One thing is true, though: the deals don’t last for long. I bought a spray last night for my dog, and this morning, it was back to full price, which is why I’m urging everyone to quickly make their purchases right now. Today is the final day of Prime Big Deal Days!

That said, I know I am not the only one taking advantage of the few hours we have left to shop—the event officially ends Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. A few of my colleagues also have items from their own list they’d like to add to their carts. Since I am quite nosy—I like to see what other people are buying—I asked them to share what they plan to purchase below.

Take a look at our top recommendations ahead, and if you see something you like, add it to your own cart.

“I’ve got a cocktail of skin issues: sensitive skin, a wicked nickel allergy, eczema, and hormonal acne flare-ups. I have to be very careful about my pillow, since it touches my face for eight hours straight every night. I got to test out Coop’s new copper-infused pillow, and it’s probably the only pillow I’d sleep on without a silk pillowcase.

It keeps Coop's iconic adjustability, so I can remove or add shredded memory foam until it’s just fluffy enough for me. The copper mineral keeps the pillow’s surface anti-static and temperature neutral, so I don’t get wrinkles on my face, and it stays feeling fresh come morning. It also doesn’t make my hair messy. The science is sound, too; through lab testing, the study showed that the pillow inhibits the bacteria that causes acne.

I got a King that’s a bit too big for my bed, so during Prime Day I’m swapping to a smaller Queen, especially when this is the lowest price it’s EVER been.” —Janae McKenzie, Associate Shopping Editor

“I got this for full price for my dad, who needed a new office chair, and he loves it so much. Now that it’s discounted, I’m thinking of getting another one for my uncle, who tried out my dad’s and fell in love with it too! While it may not pass my personal test for looking ‘cute and pretty,’ it does pass all the tests for being ergonomic, supportive, and comfortable. The mesh back lets air flow through if you tend to sweat while presenting on Zoom calls, while the arm heights and widths can be adjusted to your preference.” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor

“One of the household essentials I get on Amazon is my Brita filters. I hate buying them full price because they aren’t highly necessary; NYC has great tap water, but I like to play it safe. I stock up on these until the next sale, and luckily they are still discounted on the final day of Prime Day!” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor

“My plant collection’s watering routine includes a thorough leaf cleaning, often with microfiber gloves that get pretty ratty after a few times in the washing machine. I would love to upgrade to a sleeker accessory. We the Wild, the same houseplant care brand I get my fertilizer from, has these sleek cleaning gloves with a leather strap that make me feel like the cutest plant parent in the greenhouse.” —Janae McKenzie, Associate Shopping Editor

“My UGG boots are the only shoes that keep my feet and ankles warm during the winter, whether I’m stepping out to run errands or walking my dog. I want that same soft, cozy comfort for the rest of my body, so I’m eyeing this blanket from the brand. It comes in several colors and sizes and is machine washable, which is a plus because I don’t like blankets that are ‘dry clean only’.” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor

“I’ve decided I’m worth the upgrade of a towel warmer. I was handed a warm neck pillow after a recent spa treatment, and I practically melted into my chair. With the weather cooling, I’m going to save a bit of money on my heating bill. Wrapping up in a fluffy warm towel the minute I get out of the shower will feel like the perfect end-of-day luxury.” —Janae McKenzie, Associate Shopping Editor

“Bobbin details are so trendy right now, but for those who don’t want to commit to Bobbin furniture, these frames are a good way to embrace the look without going overboard. They’re affordable, cute, and would look great filled with children’s drawings or even family photos for a whimsical touch.” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor

“I foolishly tried to spot-clean my beloved Loloi rug with water and detergent, without having a proper way to dry it. The soap has hardened the fibers in an annoying streak on my rug, ruining its soft ‘walking on clouds’ feeling. So it’s finally time to invest in a proper carpet cleaner. The BISSELL Little Green Mini is an ideal pick. It lets me get into the weird rug corners without moving my whole couch, and I can flush out the remaining soap with ease.”—Janae McKenzie, Associate Shopping Editor

“As soon as the weather felt like fall, I started thinking about Christmas decor. Yes, I skipped over Halloween and Thanksgiving decor because they just don’t have the same hygge feel to me like Christmas does. I love all the bows, greenery, twinkling lights, and cute ornaments in December. I already have a garland for a mantel, and this year I am thinking of stepping it up with garlands that wrap around my indoor staircase. These seem life-like and are nine feet long!” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor

“Baking season is back! Which means that my sink is about to become overrun with mixing bowls, cake pans, and loaf tins. I don't have a dishwasher at home, and the space in my drying rack fills up quickly, so I'm calling in reinforcements with this clever silicone over-the-sink drying rack. It won't get gunky or rusty as a regular plastic or metal rack would, and it allows my oversized, heavy-duty cookware to drip-dry over the sink until they're ready to be put away before the next batch. I love that it rolls up and out of the way until I need to pull it out.” —Melanie Yates, Senior Digital Editor

“If you’re looking for a good hostess gift and know they’re into espresso, these cups are a no-brainer present. The cup and plate combo will take their morning drink routine to the next level, perhaps mentally transporting them to Italy, and make them feel fancy.” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor

“One of my prized kitchen possessions is a Boos Block cutting board. I have the best-selling maple board now, but if I were adding another one to the collection, it would be this handsome walnut wood. Mine stays out on the counter for all-the-time use, but it also makes for a stunning charcuterie board (or really, a serving board for anything—I've served sliced steak on it too). It's an everyday luxury that's actually useful.” —Heath Owens, Deputy Editor, Commerce

“I’ve been looking for something cute to hold all my kitchen utensils in and spotted this ceramic holder with a marble design on it. I like how spacious it is, and it looks sturdy, so I don’t have to worry about my ladles and spatulas tipping the holder over.” —Marina Liao, Senior Commerce Editor
