  • Alec Baldwin’s Hampton’s home has been on the market for about five months. After hitting the market again late last year, the property has once again failed to garner enough interest to secure the actor’s over $20 million asking price.
  • The actor originally purchased the home for $1.75 million in 1995. Since then, he’s made significant advancements to the property, adding a wood-paneled library and movie theatre to the home.
  • The centerpiece of the almost 10-acre estate is a 1740’s restored match-box farmhouse, which sits among a working garden and a 50-foot swimming pool.

The Baldwins are once again searching for a buyer for their Amagansett mansion after years of struggling to sell the property.

The home was first listed in September 2022 and remained on the market for 16 months. During that time, actor Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, repeatedly reduced the asking price from $29 million to $18.99 million. Despite promoting the property through social media posts, stories, and home tours, the couple failed to generate enough interest and ultimately pulled the listing in October 2024.

They relisted the home in December 2025, but after five months on the market, it still has not found a buyer. Even a price reduction from $21 million to $19.99 million failed to spark a sale. Now, in a renewed effort to attract buyers, Baldwin has cut another $1 million from the asking price, according to Realtor.com.

The almost 10,000-square-foot restored farmhouse sits on roughly 10 acres of land, which boasts a 50-foot pool and the potential for a private, on-property vineyard. Like many of the celebrity-loved estates in the area, the house is brimming with luxe features, including an at-home spa, a private movie theater, and a sunroom in addition to its five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Alec purchased the home in 1995 on a “cold winter day,” according to his recounting of the sale in an episode of TLC’s The Baldwins. He snagged the historic property for just $1.75 million—a steal if you ask us—and updated it accordingly as his family grew, adding a wood-paneled library, playroom, and a fenced-in vegetable garden to the home.

He and Hilaria have both been candid about the home’s family history, sharing fond memories on social media and in the press. In fact, in an August 2025 interview with The New York Times, Baldwin revealed his children’s fondness for the property, stating that they “go crazy” when he mentions the potential thought of selling it. “It’s a kid’s home that I never want to leave,” Baldwin said.

Despite those sweet sentiments, the Baldwins seem adamant about parting with the property. They spent a 16-month stint hoping to sell their “piece of paradise,” so we’re guessing timing isn’t an issue, but pricing? That might be a deciding factor for the star. It seems like selling this home might be the actor’s next Mission: Impossible.
