Could you be sitting on a small fortune?
Old university textbooks collecting dust, that iPhone you upgraded, that bike you used once, watches you no longer wear and that sofa you no longer sit on – lots of us are guilty of holding on to items for longer than we should.
But what if selling them on would not only free up space in your home, but make you some extra cash too? Win, win.
Good Move has taken the stress out of working out what your old items are worth by compiling a list of the most Googled second-hand household items in 2018. And there's some surprising entries on the list, including office chairs, golf clubs and wedding dresses.

With new phone models constantly hitting the shelves, many Brits will have old handsets lying around the home, with fancy upgrades rendering older devices redundant.
But just because you no longer need the phone, it doesn’t mean that no-one else would want it, with the iPhone 6 the second most searched for used household item in 2018.

While people are generally against the idea of buying expensive products second-hand, it appears that Sony’s Playstation 4 bucks the trend.
The PS4 was the most searched for second-hand games console in 2018, so if you’ve stopped playing yours as much as you used to, it might be worth putting it up for sale – there’s certainly a demand for them.

There’s a lot of interest online in second-hand sofas, with the steep price tag of brand new models often putting people off.Used sofas were the most searched-for second-hand pieces of furniture, so if you have a spare in your house, or are looking for an upgrade, then consider selling rather than just throwing it away.
